Meet Ditty

“I’ll bring the dessert!”

I come from a family that loves to bake (and eat)!  When my boys developed a severe gluten allergy, our entire family went gluten-free.  

​

We started exploring gluten-free baked goods which left much to be desired.  I was tired of seeing my little boys' faces when they went to birthdays or holidays and could not have the cake or cookies.  So, I decided to make it for them myself.  Eight plus years and many experiments later, I can say that our family does not miss out on delicious cakes, cookies, pies, and more.  (Kids can be harsh critics!)

Dessert has become the way we show or share love amongst each other.  I wanted to show my boys that they are loved even though they could not have 99% of all the desserts out there.  Now, people have encouraged me to spread the love to everyone and so Ditty | A Gluten Free Bakery was born.
